Ray O’HaraSenior Vice President, Consulting and InvestigationsAs senior vice president of the Consulting and Investigations division of the Company, Ray O’Hara is responsible for strategic leadership and oversight of Andrews International’s C&I practice; a division of the Company that brings strategic enterprise initiatives and resource optimization to our clients. His role entails development and executive administration of the Company’s C&I services, for an integration of services that adds value in support of client needs. Ray brings more than 30 years of experience in the consulting and investigations services field, corporate security and law enforcement to his position. His experience includes managing large-scale security consulting and investigations projects in emerging markets and developing international executive protection, crisis management and response plans. Most recently, he led the consulting and investigations business for Garda World Security Corporation (formerly Vance); a position that involved work in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa and South America, as well as the supervision of field offices in the United States. Ray previously served as corporate security manager for Weyerhaeuser Co. and GTE, where he was responsible for security programs involving the protection of employees and business operations. In addition to his operational responsibilities, O’Hara established and managed workplace violence client training programs for corporations and most recently developed crisis management and response plans for public venues, such as shopping centers, educational institutions and the Olympic Games. He also developed and implemented a financial fraud prevention program for managers, and handled hi-level, sensitive fraud matters across the organization. Prior to entering the corporate security sector, Ray was a supervising detective for the Los Angeles Police Department. Ray currently serves as Secretary on the ASIS International Board of Directors and has served as President of ASIS’ Professional Certification Board and Chair of the ASIS International Investigations Council. He is board certified in security management by ASIS International and is considered a Risk Vulnerability Expert, with experience in analyzing and categorizing business vulnerabilities, homeland security initiatives, terrorism and political threats. He is a founding member and the first Chair of The Alliance for Enterprise Security Risk Management, a partnership of leading international security organizations formed to address issues surrounding the convergence of traditional and logical security.
