John NagyVice President Operations & Business DevelopmentJohn Nagy joined Andrews International when his company, Nagy Protection Services, was acquired by Andrews International in November 2007. As vice president of the Van Nuys/San Fernando Valley Region of Andrews International, John’s responsibilities include oversight of the region as well as anti-piracy operations, the Burbank Client Support Center (CSC) and the business support unit; which encompasses the mobile field supervisors/small account management teams and dispatch operations in southern California. As executive leader of this process, John works to create inter-operability and redundancy between the CSC and dispatch operations in the new Van Nuys office of the company. John also provides direct oversight for all aspects of the uniformed security services contracted to the Walt Disney Company. John is the company’s vertical market expert on educational facilities security and residential protection. As founder and president/CEO of Nagy Protection Services from 1991 to 2007, John developed a wealth of experience and expertise in meeting the unique security needs of these environments. He has developed school campus emergency policies and procedures, and has designed the "Outsourced Director of Security" (DOS) program, especially devised for private schools. Prior to developing a successful private security enterprise, John enjoyed a 23-year career with the Los Angeles Police Department, where his campus protection experience began in the Juvenile Division and DARE Programs. John was also a command pilot with the Los Angeles Police Department Air Support Division, with over 10,000 flight hours logged. John is a frequent guest lecturer on topics pertaining to preventive security measures, employee relations and protection of private schools and is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS).
