Vice President, Bronx Operations

Bill Flores joined Andrews International through its merger with Copstat Security, LLC in 2006. Bill began his career with Copstat in 1987 as site supervisor. He rose through the ranks to become Bronx area manager in October 1999 and was promoted to vice president in December 2007.  As such, Bill’s responsibilities include management oversight of the day-to-day Bronx area security operations. His areas of expertise include security operations and alarm response, security officer instruction, risk assessments and analysis, and security program development customized to client environments.

Bill’s private security experience includes special event security, anti-piracy screening, and surveillance. He managed security for several special event details, such as the Tony Awards 1991, 1992, 1993, and Bacardi’s Sean Paul concert in 2007. Bill was involved in sting operations for a client which lead to arrests and mitigated future problems. Because of the success of the operations, he started a surveillance program which has been utilized throughout all of the client’s venues.  Bill also trained the first class of officers and trainers assigned to the Empire State Building.

Previous to his private security career, Bill was a member of the New York City Auxiliary Police Department for nearly 10 years. He is an active member of the Bronx Chamber of Commerce and the New York Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. His certifications include; NYS General Topics Instructor, NYS Department of Homeland Security Instructor also Certified to Train the Trainers, NYC Certificate of Fitness for Hotels/Motels and Hi-Rise Office Buildings, NYC Licensed Process Server, NYS Security License, 40 hour course of ADT's Mastermind Alarm Dispatch Software.
