Cliff BarberExecutive Director, Maritime Security Services VerticalAs executive director of Andrews International’s Maritime Security Services division, Cliff Barber’s functions entail managing business in the cruise line and port maritime security markets. Cliff has a unique and in depth knowledge of the marine/cruise line security industry, with more than 11 years of experience, including knowledge of the ISPS Codes, port operations and tour operations in more than 40 port countries. Previously CSO for a private organization offering heavy lift launch services for commercial Satellite customers, Cliff was responsible for all physical security of the facility and vessels as well as for Technical Assistance Agreements and other U.S. State Department authorizations associated with the International Transfer in Arms Regulation (ITAR). Cliff’s responsibilities also included enforcing the requirements of 33 CFR 105 and related federal and international port facility and ship security regulations. Prior to the CSO position, Cliff was a security inspector and chief investigator for one of the most well known cruise lines in the industry, sailing to all seven continents and calls at approximately 208 ports around the world. Cliff has 16 years of experience as a member of the United States Military and more than 20 years of experience in Law Enforcement as well as related fields in the Legal community.
