John AdamsSenior Vice President, Operations & Support ServicesJohn Adams joined Andrews International in 1992. As senior vice president, John oversees the daily operations of security service contracts and field personnel in California. His responsibilities include cost proposals and contract negotiations as well as the oversight of training and placement of security personnel, field supervisors and account managers. John is head of background and internal investigations, and is the corporate trainer for our fire/life safety programs, including first aid/CPR, automatic external defibulators and blood-borne pathogens. Previous to his career with Andrews International, John served with the Los Angeles City Fire Department, where he worked in the Bureau of Fire Suppression, emergency medical services and training division. John was involved in the recruiting and training of minority firefighter candidates and helped implement the physical testing standards and training procedures for the first female fire fighters. In addition to his career at Andrews International, John is a licensed private pilot and building contractor.
