Ty Richmond, CPP, CFECo-President / Chief Operating OfficerTy Richmond is co-president and chief operating officer of Andrews International. As such, he is responsible for the operational and financial performance of all Andrews International business units/services generating from the West Coast operations. This role also includes growing the company by service/geographical expansion, strategic planning, marketing and sales/ business development; as well as overseeing relationship management for a variety of client partnerships outside of California, covering North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Asia/Pacific region and Latin America. Prior to joining Andrews International in July 2004, Ty held several executive management positions at Agilent Technologies, a Fortune 200 technology manufacturer. During his career at Agilent, Ty was senior director of the Asia Pacific shared services organization based in Singapore where he was responsible for the delivery of infrastructure services in sixteen Asian countries. Preceding his foreign assignment, he was selected by Hewlett-Packard executive management to be the senior security executive at Agilent. In this role he was responsible for providing strategic leadership in the design and development for the functions of security, environment, health and safety, and aviation travel services. Ty was also the manager of corporate worldwide security and Americas security manager for Hewlett-Packard prior to the divestiture of Agilent. During the former fifteen years, Ty worked for Fortune 500 corporations in roles relating to security, safety and risk management; as well as leadership roles in the energy, transportation, consumer products, and high-tech business sectors. Ty also brings to his position nearly eight (8) years of experience with a diverse range of responsibilities and assignments in public law enforcement. His corporate security areas of focus and responsibility have included general management and strategic planning, investigations, crisis management, threat assessments, intellectual property protection, operational and physical security integration; and product logistics supply chain asset protection. Ty has personally been involved in assignments and/or been accountable for operations in various countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific regions. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in management and is board certified as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). He is also a member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) International Physical and IT Security Convergence Committee; and has previously worked on the investigations, information technology protection and business practices councils of ASIS.
